CLUB SERVICES
At "Anxious Hong Kong," our mission is to prioritise the mental health of our club members. To achieve this, we offer various mental health services, including 1-on-1 guided self-help treatment, individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation groups, and virtual reality exposure therapy.
Our team of psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychological wellbeing officers work hard to provide necessary resources and support to our club members in the pursuit of their well-being. The manner in which these services are provided may vary and can be carried out through video calls, phone calls, or text.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a negative cycle.

CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts.

You're shown how to change these negative patterns to improve the way you feel. Unlike some other talking treatments, CBT deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on issues from your past.

Psychoeducation
Psychoeducation involves
learning about and understanding mental health and wellbeing. It’s similar to physical education, where you learn about how your body works, how to look after it and the impacts of different strains or stressors - but instead you apply this to the mind. In fact, by being on this page you are practising psychoeducation!
